binary numbers are around you
That’s my first impression after watching the first episode of this series. Sure there were series that combine modern tech and magic but programming with magic ? At first I also thought that the code was some kind of command spell, construction spell or something similar. But after seeing that there are binary numbers on the “magic line” and also when Misa write some lines of code, it make me sure that they do programmed the magic.
Moreover, they use C++ to program their magic (at least Misa use it). Seeing at how she construct the class is the key to know that she use C++ ^^; Really, this anime remind me of my previous task as a freshmen in my campus. Also, the code usage for magic is kinda amaze me. Well, in reality, codes are like magic. You can change a simple single-player platform game to a simple multiplayer game that can be played via LAN with just some lines of code (That was my experience when using XNA). *sigh* if only I can use those codes to do magic…
C++ goodness
Aside all that, the fact that there are lolis here may make this anime stand out. Though maybe some people don’t like at how it show a loli nopan. Or do they ? Also, maybe it will stand out to those who love mahou shoujo.
Well, for me a loli tsundere(?) mahou shoujo can make my daily life feels more interesting ^^
Note: the 1st episode title is “hello, world” which is the title of computer program that is used in many introductory tutorials for teaching programming language. More detail here…
She certainly has attitude. Interesting anime. (hacking magic?)
