It’s already 1 month since the first time we announced the K-ON! Winamp Skin. Now we publish one of our K-ON! Winamp skin project, K-ON! 4char Chibi Winamp Skin. As for why it took 1 month, that’s because: 1. we got exam 2. I’m doing the layout and script alone. Hime-chi still working on other K-ON! skins (and also for her final project) so she didn’t have time for this skin.

Just want to ask, running Winamp 5.541 on my laptop and ran the same version on my desktop as well, the skin works on my laptop but does not want to work on my desktop.
Then went and downloaded Winamp 5.551 and still nothing happened.
No idea why, all the other skins on the site work on my desktop but for the K-On! one. Love this skin, Mio is so cute.
Then installed winamp 5.541 on my spare unused laptop and the K-On! skin did not work there either?! Anybody have any idea as to what could be the issue?
All the other skins work in the spare laptop as well!

Maybe the file is corrupted ? Maybe you can try to move it outside skin folder and then double click on it. That should immediately change your Winamp skin to this one.
If not, maybe it’s because the studio.xnf file in Application Data folder. Open the Run dialog and fill this address “%APPDATA%\Winamp” and then delete the studio.xnf file in the folder. You shouldn’t run Winamp when doing this.

Tried double click method as well outside folder, copying to folder without double click.

And about Azu-nyan and Sawa-chan, I afraid that you will have to wait a bit longer ^^; You know, there are already some skins in the project list and making a winamp skin, especially a modern one, is not an easy task.
then why don’t you contact Shinjitsu and ask him to draw them ;) i think he might do that cause of your wonderful outcome with his work ^-^
well, I would like to do that but maybe right now he/she is busy preparing for comiket. Also, I may not online often starting next month.

Hey, first of all I want to say thank you for the skin!
I downloaded the file and when I double click it, it asks me if I want to install it. After clicking yes, it launches my winamp but it’s still my classic skin (Currently using version 5.56). Any help would be appreciated. ^_^
