This site or to be exact a blog, is in actual for the members to publish their winamp and rainmeter skins at first. But later, we published several stuff here. For you who just know about this blog, you will think that we started later on May. But in actual, we started this site on February 4, 2008. Yeah around one and half year ago.
The site was founded by msdzero together with buchin, the former owner of itgossips.com. But since buchin was already busy with his site, msdzero managed this site alone. Then murderprincess, or Hime-chi, come to help. Together they maintain the site up until now.
About the skins in this blog
You might wonders how did we end up making a winamp and rainmeter skin. Here is the story:
In the middle of 2007, hime-chi show msdzero winamp skins she had collected. It was just a few so there are not much a choice. Then msdzero do some search for another skins. He then able to get around 52 winamp skins from various japanese site. It was a bit difficult for him since he is not really understand japanese letters especially kanji. But even though he got that much he still not satisfied. So he began to learn to make one.
At first he finds it difficult, but he still don’t want to give up. He, in actual really want to contribute something to anime world. He don’t understand japanese but he is a programmer. So he took winamp skin as his way to contribute.
You might think that the first skin he made is that Fate/Hollow Ataraxia – Saber winamp skin. That might be right if you said is as the first published. But the first one is a To Heart 2 – Kousaka Tamaki winamp skin. He didn’t publish it because he thought that it still looks bad.
That’s the history. That was also the reason to found this site because he want to share them with everyone.
